Salvation Army and Charlie Joseph Senior Center - 2011 

The Meridian family believes in supporting their communities throughout the entire year, but we always try and do a little more at the holidays.In December 2011, we were proud to provide gifts for our adopted Salvation Army family, hoping to help make their season a little brighter. Additionally, Meridian threw an annual luncheon at the Charlie Joseph Senior Center to provide gifts, companionship, and a festive meal for some of Jacksonville's seniors in need. We encourage you all to reach out to your communities as well, in December and beyond.

 Baptist Health- Women's Heart Connection Event- 2011

Helping with the battle to educate our community on heart disease, Meridian was a proud sponsor of the 'Women's Heart Connection'. This Baptist Health event was held on  Saturday, April 16, 2011at the Jacksonville Public Library from 9 AM- 4 PM. The event provided free heart disease screenings, cooking & fitness demonstrations, bone density risk assessments, and many other heart-healthy activities. Meridian was on-site volunteering their time and support. 

Special Olympics Florida - 2010

We were thrilled to be able support the 2010 Special Olympics! By sponsoring two of the event's athletes Meridian allowed them the opportunity to take part in this amazing event. 

Wolfson Children's Hospital's Candle Sponsor- "One to Grow On" Ultra Marathon- 2010 

Meridian was very proud to be one of Wolfson Children’s Hospital’s Candle Sponsors for their upcoming “One to Grow On” Ultra Marathon. For this event Meridian sponsored one of the 55 Candles that was on display celebrating Wolfson’s 55 years of helping sick and injured children.

Salvation Army- "Adopt-A-Family" program- 2009

The 2009 Holiday Season brought Meridian in partnership with The Salvation Army for their ‘Adopt-A-Family’ program, providing area families with gifts and essentials for the holidays and days to follow. The company was able to make a difference in two Jacksonville families’ lives, and thanks the Salvation Army for all they do for our community.

Second Harvest- 2009

This holiday Meridian associates also opened their hearts by generously contributing to the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Florida. Through the company’s combined efforts, Second Harvest will be able to supply 9,570 meals to families in need both during the holidays and well into the year. This is a wonderful cause and we look forward to supporting the organization in the future!

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of North Florida-"Trot for Tots"- 2009

In true Meridian fashion, an outstanding group of employees came out on Saturday, June 6, for Trot for Tots! They participated in a 1.3 mile walk through downtown Jacksonville to support the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of North Florida. The event helped raise funds for Jacksonville’s babies. Thank you to our Meridian associates and their friends and families for supporting this great cause!
